To Judy's family: my husband and I were planning to come to the funeral when, that same morning, we learned of a sudden death in our own family. Our shiva and the holidays kept us from your shiva, but Judy was never far from our thoughts.
Judy taught me to read Hebrew when I was well into my 40s. I will never forget her for that, or for her kindness, patience and genuine regard for everyone who touched her life. She will be sorely missed.

Mrs Grossbard was a wonderful teacher to my two children at Am Yisrael. She made learning very sweet and my kids really benefited from her teaching. We are so sorry to hear of her passing.
