I was a teenager when my aunt introduced me to Julie the model. I remember thinking how fabulous you were and how star struck I was because we used to see you on tv. That was 35 years ago and I still felt the same when I last saw you for lunch 5 years ago. You will be fabulous forever Julie. RIP

Dearest Julie, we modeled and auditioned together and were friends for over 45 years. WE shared many fun moments watching the ballroom dancers on TV , lunches, dinners, weddings and walking down michigan ave together.and of course easter at the drake in our easter bonnets. wE were quite the gals , you with your flaming red hair and me the blond all american gal. WE were quite the team , who worked together and also competed with each other but always with a smile
WE were like sisters for all those years on the near north side.
I moved away but when I got the call from your dear dear friends Bonnie and Connie who were taking care of you , I couldn't believe you had fallen so ill. I'll miss you my dear , but I know you are at peace. I will light a candle for you in my home for as long as i am here. I did love you my little punkin and Im so glad i got to see you at your last birthday party. sleep well. I'll be smiling up at you.
Love and bear hugs from Mary Ann Lajoie-Sandroff
