Junie L. Sinson

Junie Latino Sinson, age 92, long time resident of Elmhurst, Alumni of Oak Park River Forest High School and Beloit College where he was a member of his High School and College Football Teams and Northwestern Law School; Army Veteran; Accomplished attorney and founding partner of Jurco, Damisch and Sinson, Barclay, Damish and Sinson, Junie Sinson and Associates, Otteson, Sinson and Trevarthen and Sinson and Sinson; former counsel in the Judge Advocate General's Office; former Assistant Illinois Attorney General. An active volunteer and board member, Junie served with the Caxton Club, Newberry Library, Elmhurst School Board, Republican precinct committeeman and Northwestern Athletics. Junie was a fan of all thing sports, travel and gardening and was one of his grandchildren's biggest fans. Junie was the beloved husband of Dorothy, nee Olson; loving father of Kent, Grant (Sharie) and Scott (Colleen) Sinson; cherished grandfather of Eric, Alexandra, Beth, Mackenzie and Everett; dear friend and member of the Chocolate Moon coffee crew. Visitation Saturday, March 18, 2023, 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service 1:00 p.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (1/2 mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst.
