I met Karen at St. Benedict's Abbey in Benet Lake, Wisc., and we've been phone buddies for a long time, sharing many joys and sorrows. I'll miss her dearly. Her family did a great job of working hard to meet her needs. Thanks to all the AFG people who for so long supported her and her sponsorees whom she loved.

I worked with Karen in art therapy every week for the past five years at her residence. We shared information about artists and art styles. She asked me to critique her work. She had a deep spiritual connection which helped her through the many trying times she experienced. Her art reflected this. She deserves a peaceful afterlife. I'll miss her.

I knew Karen for many years from going up to St. Benedict's in Wisconsin. She had a beautiful talent for drawing and was so kind. She was an inspiration that she had so many physical problems, but still kept on going. Love, Cathy Morrow ps I think that I have a picture of Karen with our group at St. Benedict's. I am so grateful to have known Karen. She has such a loving, loveable spirit which I still feel very strongly.
