Dear Angela, Kiki and Mark,
I have only just learned of Karen's passing and it seems unreal to me that such a bright spirit - and a huge part of my early life - is gone. What a childhood we had! The silly things we did together have been flooding my mind. She was a great friend and I know how much she loved her family. I am away with my family or I would be there to add myself to the many people who cared for her.
I send my deepest sympathy to all of you,

Mark, my loving prayers are sent to you and your family. As you know, Karen and I go way back. She was truly my very best friend during some really important growing up years. We shared many wonderful and fun times. She is in my heart forever. May loving memories of her be with you always. Love, Susie Omens

Mark-
I am so very sorry for your loss. I have lovely memories of Karen - especially for her love of flowers and her beautiful garden every summer when I would visit my sister Connie. My mom and dad loved her as well. My deepest sympathy.

Karen was a kind and generous neighbor. I remember her love of cooking and the awesome cookies that she made. She truly had a zest for life. She is at peace now and my family will not forget her. Connie and Nick Fox - next door neighbors
