Karyn Pearson Obituary
Karyn K. Pearson, age 27 of Gilberts, IL, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at her home. Survivors include her dear mother, Mary Jo Pearson; loving father John Pearson; beloved brothers, Christopher (Laura) Pearson and Kevin Pearson; dear nephew, Nolan Christopher Pearson. She was preceded by her grandparents. Services will be Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 845 W. Main St., West Dundee with Rev. Richard Rosinski officiating. Visitation Friday, January 12, 2007 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Laird Funeral Home, 120 S. Third St., West Dundee, IL from 9 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross. I'm about 95% sure this is the Karyn I went to pre-school & Westchester Elementary School with through 2nd grade or so. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me.
I remember Karyn being the 1st kid that was nice to me when others were jerks. I also remember her saying how we might get married someday with her beautiful smile. Of course that's about 35yrs ago but I still remember it like yesterday. I didn't even know this happened till I saw a dedication on a truck for her last week. That's why I'm so late in posting this.

I did not know Karyn or anyone else in your family, I am just someone who read about Karyn when she passed away. I am so heartbroken that she was taken from you and I am hoping that with the recent developments that it is helping you find a little peace if that is at all possible. I wish I had known Karyn because just from reading everything that everyone has said about her she would have been someone I'm sure I would have liked very much. The world is much brighter for Karyn being in it and I'm sure everyone is much better off in this world having known her.

I worked with Karyn some years ago and the thought that comes to me the minute I think of Karyn is sunshine. She was always smiling..and had a wonderdful caring heart. I always teased her about her "retro" dress style..but it fit her like a tee. I only found out about this in the paper and it immediately sent shock throughtout my body. I had run into Karyn not too long ago..and this just doesn't seem possible. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time and I only wished I would have known about this sooner. God bless..and remember Karyn left a legacy of love, laughter and sunshine wherever she was.

Within my HEART and partying around in my MIND is where Karyn shall forever reside. Everything I could ever write and say about KP she already knew. She was reminded of the love I have for her and of our friendship just Sunday afternoon. Ordering a pepperoni pizza, mozzarella cheese sticks, a Portillos beef and cheddar croissant with a large Pepsi will always have a story behind them. I have to miss you and I have to breakdown, but I know those are the times that you’ll be making rhymes or short stories on napkins for me. Kare Bear, I've never had to do anything like this before so I'm just going to write you a letter. This is the hardest thing I've ever gone thru in my life and I still can't believe I'm not going to be able to talk to my dome again. I had to tell Stacy and Merhawet. Stacy was in total stock and Merhawet kept pleading with me to tell her this was my idea of a bad joke. Everyone keeps asking if there is anything they can do to help or make me feel better and all I want to say is bring my KP back. I know that's not possible but that is all I want right now. I love you so much and this is something I'll never ever get over. Can you name another couple that broke up 5 years ago and still talked as often as we did? There are so many things that I'll never get to do with you again and that is making me miserable. My every thought is of you and I can't even begin to imagine how MJ and the brothers are taking this. I just want you to know that I love you and you will be missed.
