Kenneth Cahn Obituary
Kenneth Cahn, born February 6, 1932 in Chicago, died peacefully at his home in Northbrook, IL on June 26, 2015. He was surrounded by his loving children, Ross Cahn, Stephanie (Klaus Henke) Cahn, and Linda (Benjamin) Cohen. Kenneth was the son of former chief economist of the Tribune, the late Reuben D. Cahn, and the late Dorothy Shoninger. He was the brother of Marilyn (Edward) Rapkin. Kenny, as he was known to many, earned his master's in engineering from the Univ. of Wisconsin. He made a life as a serial entrepreneur. A lifelong lover of jazz and piano, Ken spent many evenings after dinner seated at his grand piano. He shared his love of music with his grandchildren, Sophia and Shoshanna. He enjoyed many winters in South Beach with his longtime companion Donna Heller. Graveside service Tues, 11 AM, at Zion Gardens Cemetery, 3600 N. Narragansett, Chicago. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org. Info: 847-256-5700.

I worked with Ken for many years at KC Engineering. Lunch at Mannys, sharing great stories and many trips to Greek town. Ken was like my older brother. Teaching and helping for the last 40 years. What a wonderful man, I was blessed to know him..
