Irene:

When I heard from Don Labriola this morning about Ken’s death, I was stunned. I can’t even begin to image the sense of loss you must be feeling, having your life’s partner taken from you.

Although I didn’t know Ken well, he impressed me as a kind and considerate individual. His efforts and compassion to have 191st Street co-named Robert Stanek Drive in honor of his friend was a true example of his compassion. During this difficult time it’s important that you surround yourself with family and friends and remember the “good times” you shared with Ken.

Please accept what little comfort my thoughts can give you.
