retired Chicago Fire Department Paramedic passed into eternal life on September 9, 2021. Beloved son of the late Patrick and Kathleen nee Kelly. Dear brother and great friend to his sister Karen. Cherished cousin to many, especially to Dan, Tom and Ed Roudebush. Kevin was born and raised in Chicago's Canaryville neighborhood where he developed and maintained many friendships. He was proud of his 30 years of service to the CFD, as well as his service to his country as a SP4 with the United States Army. Kevin loved Chicago sports especially Northwestern Football, the Chicago White Sox and Blackhawks. He was blessed with many great friends and family members. He will be truly missed.Services at McINERNEY CENTRAL CHAPEL, 4635 S. Wallace St., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Saturday, September 18, 2021, from 8:00 a.m. until chapel prayers at 9:15 a.m., to St. Gabriel Church, 600 W. 45th St., Chicago. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Graveside services at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 6001 W. 111th Alsip.

I knew Kevin to be an all around great guy! He loved his family dearly and was kind and generous to so many people. His mischievous smile and that sparkle in his Irish eyes will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved him! Rest in peace, Kevin.
