After a rich and rewarding life for which he was very grateful, Kevin J. Duffy, age 65 and formerly of Chicago, passed away on 11-9-2021. He was the loving and loyal son of the late John P. and Eleanor Jane (Doran) Duffy; beloved brother and friend of Diane (James) Otepka; uncle of many nieces and nephews, and a friend to scores of people around the globe. Kevin was a proud 1974 graduate of Chicago's St. Ignatius College Prep. He graduated from St. Mary's University of Minnesota in 1978. Throughout his life, Kevin loved the arts, was a voracious reader and an excellent writer. He was a good cook, a better baker and an avid gardener. He loved to travel domestically and internationally. He also loved to dance and to make people laugh. (Sometimes they would laugh at his dancing.) At his request, there was no visitation. A simple Christian service and his interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip, IL were private. Donations to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Curley Funeral Home; For Funeral info, (708) 422-2700, or www.curleyfuneralhome.com
