Kevin J. Mahoney

U.S. Army Veteran, age 71, suddenly, late of Evergreen Park; cherished brother of Therese (Steve Waller), Joseph (Madeleine) and the late David; loving grand uncle of David, Oliver, & Rose Mahoney; beloved son of the late David and Theresa nee Morrissey. A 1968 graduate of Brother Rice HS, Kevin went on to earn a bachelor's in accounting from St. Joseph's College (Rensselaer IN), as well as a master's degree from NIU and DePaul University. As a licensed CPA, he worked independently for several years before joining the Internal Revenue Service. Kevin was an avid reader and historian. He enjoyed draft beer and was a well-liked, respected patron at south side pubs. Most importantly, he was a devout Catholic, daily communicant and former member of the choir at Most Holy Redeemer.
