Lawrence Steinman Obituary

Lawrence ''Larry'' Steinman, 76, Hawthorn Woods, loving, dedicated husband of Mary Ellen Steinman, nee Engler; passed away April 9, 2005. Preceded in death by parents Harry and Anna Steinman, nee Chanivetzky Witten; brothers and sisters Irv, Sarah, Nat, Freda, Ben, Janet. Larry was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada. Survived by son Christopher (Robin), Natalie Jacobsen (Paul) and Stuart (Renee); proud grandfather to Paul, Eric, Sean, Elisabeth, Jessica, Katrina, Brandon and Morgan. Memorial and interment April 14, 11 a.m. at Ascension Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Road (Rt. 137) Libertyville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lawrence Steinman Music Student Scholarship Fund at Bank One (Chase Bank), 1 First Bank Plaza, Lake Zurich, Illinois 60047. Arrangements by the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, Lake Zurich. 847-540-8871.
