Lenore Kalanges Obituary

Lenore Kalanges, age 66, a life long Chicago area resident, last 15 years she spent in Elmwood Park, IL, joined her beloved father and mother in God's Kingdom on Oct. 21, 2007. Lenore was a loving, kind, generous and gentle soul who loved all God's creatures, especially people, dogs and the Chicago Bears. She was a proud graduate of Lindblom High School class of June 1959. She leaves behind to celebrate her earthly life her brother, James (Susan) Kalanges of Chester, VA; devoted nieces, Maria Kalanges of Midlothian, VA, Caroline F. Kalanges of Glen Allen, VA and Susie Kalanges of Chester, VA. She loved these girls deeply as if they were her own children. She leaves numerous cousins all of which she loved, one special Elaine Chancey; many dear friends, one especially close was Carol McDavid. She greatly appreciated the care she received from the highly competent Medical Professional Dr. Arthur Rossuff, Dr. D. Patel and Gottlieb Hospital Hospice Program and Staff. She loved her Homecare givers as Family, Doris, Vergie and Falanda, always faithful to the end. Visitation Wednesday, 3 to 9 p.m. at Salerno's Galewood Chapels, 1857 N. Harlem Ave., Chicago. Interment private. For info 773-889-1700
