Leonard Feldman Obituary
Leonard (Lenny) Feldman, ageless. Beloved husband of Barbara nee Pam for over 50 years. Loving and caring father of Mark (Sylvie) Feldman, Steve (Siri) Feldman, Rock (Louise) Feldman, Judd (Kristen) Feldman and Jill (Alan) Swerdloff. Proud grandfather of Russell, Stacy, Daisy, Carter, Shay, Sky and Colin. Dear brother- in-law of Karen and Jerry Pam and dear brother of Jean Anderson. Devoted son-in-law to Lillian Pam. WW2 Veteran, University of IL - Champaign graduate, member of Tau Delta Phi fraternity. Lenny was a legendary, extraordinary man of character, integrity, loyalty and countless acts of generosity. He was a man with a tremendous wit that was beloved by family and friends. Lenny loved life and lived it to the fullest. He will be missed more than words can say. A memorial service and celebration of Lenny's life will be Wednesday, December 17 at 11:00 am at The Grove Country Club, 3217 RFD, Long Grove, IL 60047. Lenny was one of a kind. I was the "late night" massage therapist because they liked massage after dinner so I would not get home until sometimes after 1am. At least 25 years while the family was in the desert. He had an awesome sense of humor and loved his cocktails!!! The first night we met he told me to call him Uncle Lenny from now on. I will always miss his larger than life personality! God speed Uncle Lenny!

Lenny will be with me always. Never have I met a man with such a fearless persona and passion for living! He was a giant amongst the men of a generation we will never see again. His service to country and the gift of friendship he gave me and countless others will never be forgotten.

I remember Uncle Lenny coming to our house in Skokie to pick up Mark, Stevie, and Rocky. Somehow my Mom had gotten locked in the downstairs bathroom, and us kids took full advantage of that and ran wild through the small house. Uncle Lenny came to Mom's rescue by taking the molding off the door and then taking the door off altogether. What a hero he was that day. Mark, Steve, Rock - I know so well what you are going through. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time and always.

What a terrible loss for everyone. Without Lenny so so many lives would be drastically different.He did things for me personally I can never truly thank him for . Lenny is the nicest person i have ever met. My world will never be the same without Lenny. My heart goes out to Barbara and her wonderful family.

Lenny was not ageless. He graduated with me from Marshall High School in the class of June 1943. I am 88. I remember him as being very nice and friendly and a gentleman. Look at his picture in our yearbook.
Our group is dying out. Those of us who are still here should share our memories.

My heartfelt condolences to Lenny's family. He was such an important part of my first year trading, straight out of college when he owned and ran Sinclair (830). I'll always remember his support during those trying days, encouraging me by coming into the Swiss pit with big smile and patting me on the back, saying "You'r'e doin' great pal, just keep turning those cards over and be part of the pit." Great advice. I'll always have a warm place in my heart for Lenny. God bless.
