Lillian Floody Obituary

Lillian C (Bidinger) Floody, age 87, of Plainfield, IL, daughter of Frank and Katherine (Roehl) Bidinger, devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother died peacefully at home in the presence of her family on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022. She was born in Chicago, IL on May 27, 1934 and was a member of the Oak Park River Forest High School Class of 1952. She retired from General Motors in 1995. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughters Barbara Ann and Donna Jean Floody, and by her brothers Ray and Frank Bidinger. Surviving are her daughters Laura (Luke) Palmisano, Lisa Floody and Renee Gonzalez; her sons Kenneth (Elizabeth) Floody and Kyle (Kathy) Floody; thirteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, her sister Inge Kassel, brother William Bidinger, sister-in-law Marguerite Bidinger and by many nieces and nephews. She exemplified the indomitability of the human spirit, enduring heartbreaking losses and tribulations, yet still finding and sharing joy and happiness with all who knew her. Services will be privately held May 20, 2022.

I am so very sorry for your loss. My mom and Lillian were long time friends. They passed in same week and services were same day. I know they are together even now. God Bless

I knew Mrs Floody briefly when I was a kid. She was a nice lady. Condolences to the family.
