LILLIAN M. PIONTKOWSKI age 94 born in Chicago, was a longtime resident of Hinsdale and the Downers Grove area. Beloved wife of the late Eugene (2012); loving mother of Teresa (John) Thorsen, James (Nanette), and Karen (Thomas) Fitzgibbons; cherished grandmother of Melissa (Brett) Joseph, Ashley Piontkowski, Kyle and Sean Patrick Fitzgibbons; devoted great-grandmother of Vivian and Isla Joseph; caring daughter of Frank and Stella (Baruch) Kurpiel; dear sister of the late Stanley (late Cecelia), the late Frank (late Helen Creed), the late Harry (late May), the late Casey (Betty), the late John (late Adeline) and Rose (late Chuck) Jessee. Fond aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Due to COVID-19 restrictions the burial and a memorial Mass will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
