Love you and miss you so much Father. This picture of you & me up in Saint Germain, Wisconsin, working together on our mobile home trailer, approx 2006.
Thank-you for all my Blessings, and the incredible fun times up there, and especially our trips to Lac du~ Flambeau Indian Reservation for the Buffet of King Crab legs!
Rest in Peace "Big Lou"

You're the best father in the world, dad. Always providing for me and my 3 younger brothers and mom.
Thanks for treating me like royalty, never wanting anything for yourself. Thank you for always showing-up at my sign painting & truck lettering jobs to photo document my artwork, and give me great positive encouragement!
Thank-you for your mentorship in all things good in life that we enjoyed together, such as Scouts & camping and boating and outdoorsmanship! Thank-you for my life, my cars, my motorcycles, and my fun humor! I love you beyond words. So sorry I wasn't there for you in the end. I'm glad to have been raised by such a hard-working, straight-laced United States Marine like you, dad.
You deserve all of God's graces for the good life you lived! Again, I love you with all my heart, father. Love, your oldest son, Louis Jr.

I met Lou at the St. Helen's Harvest Festival in 2007.
He made a big impact in my left in Vero Beach and will be missed. On Veteran's Day we would make a list of where we could eat free in Vero. Vero Beach really knows how to celebrate the veterans! On Friday nights we would go to the Golden Corral at Fort Pierce with Lou's neighbors,
Al & Karen and June. We would go to the St. Sebastian's Catholic Church Flea Market, talking with his TV & Bike friend, Mike. When we went for breakfast at Kountry Kitchen, Lou would always ask the waitress for "Liquid Gold" which was orange marmalade jelly. There are many more stories. Thanks for the memories.
RIP Lou - SEMPER FI!!

John, always had fun at the Bertaux house growing up. Eating boxes of twix, and playing football on the side yard. Lou was fun guy, and really leaned into what we all were doing.
