Lucia "Lucy" Pasquesi Konsler, 91, lifelong resident of Highland Park, IL, passed away peacefully on December 15th, 2020. Lucy was born in Highland Park, IL on June 6, 1929. Throughout her life, Lucy held her family, friends, and faith close to her heart. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1947 and married Carl Konsler shortly after graduating. Carl and Lucy raised their family on the same street Lucy grew up on. In their family home, after spending hours and hours cooking homemade Italian dishes she would host holidays and parties to celebrate with the ones she loved. She would welcome friends to her beauty salon where they would share laughs and stories for hours. Lucy knitted blankets, luggage tags, hats, and gloves for her grandchildren, friends, and later in life her great-grandchildren. It was her way of showing she was thinking of you, loved you, and appreciated you. Lucy was so proud of her whole family and saw it as her greatest accomplishment in life. Her smile was infectious and she lit up every room she entered. Her legacy will live on through all those she touched in life. Loving daughter of the late Silvio & Irene Pasquesi; beloved wife of the late Carl Konsler; devoted mother of Carole (Lenard d.) Pearlman, David (Stephanie) Konsler, Gail (Bruce) Lindstrom, Kathy (Tom) Orton; cherished sister of the late Caroline Murphy and late Gasparino "Gappo" Pasquesi; adored grandmother of Brandon (Jennifer) Pearlman, Carly Pearlman, Kevin (Nicole) Konsler, Stephen (Chapin) Konsler, Ryan Konsler, Bradley (Jennifer) Lindstrom, Edwin Lindstrom, Robert (Megan) Lindstrom, Kaley Lindstrom, Alex Orton, Lucy Orton, Maggie Orton and great grandmother of Madeline Pearlman, Reagan, Rudy, McCoy and Sawyer Konsler, Olivia, Riley and Eleanor Lindstrom.
