My Grama, who was always & still is, A huge part my Life is now gone but not forgotten, a piece of my heart went with her on that day. She was my inspiration, my strength. She taught me many many things which I wil never forget. I will never know any woman as brave, strong, kind, unselfish & giving as her, I can only hope to be close. I know she is watching over me and my family. I will never stop speaking her name & telling the stories of good times we had. I was so blessed to have My grama, shes truly 1 of a kind. I hope shes at peace with no pain, Someone so good shouldnt suffer like she did. I can only hope grama & grampa are holding each other tight, a Long awaited reunion. Forever at peace. "Please Lord hold them in your arms always & forever" I LOVE YOU with all my heart & soul. Your Pal, Joanie....

Upon reading the notice on line this morning I felt a strong sadness. Mrs Garrity was a kind dear lady. Her enthusiasm for life and her love of family and her God will remain with me always. My heart breaks for you, Steve, and my sympathy to all family.

Good-bye can be a happy word
When lightly spoken,
As if a carefree heart conferred
A trifling token.
But when we part from those held dear
The voice grow's tender;
We smile to hide the unwelcome tear
And scorn surrender
Hands clasped and seeing eye to eye
All else unheeding,
How sacred is the word good-bye,
Like suppliants pleading
