Margaret Huebner Obituary

Oct 3, 1918 - Nov 24, 2015 Age 97, of Omaha, NE. Margaret "Mogie" Huebner was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 3, 1918. At the age of three years she moved to Rhinelander, Wisconsin with her parents. She was educated at Rhinelander High School and received her R.N. from St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing, an affiliate of Loyola University in Chicago. There she met her husband, Frank Huebner, who was a student at Loyola Dental School. After graduating from nursing school, Margaret worked as a stewardess for Illinois Central Railroad and American Express Tours in Canada and the United States. She married Frank Huebner in 1942 and they settled in Oak Park, Illinois, where he began his dental practice. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She had a gift for entertaining and making people feel welcomed and loved. She possessed a sharp wit combined with a heart full of compassion. She was a woman of strong faith and prayer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albina and James Mlady; husband, Frank Huebner; brother, James Mlady. Survived by daughters, Karen Federhofer (Gene) of Lisle, Illinois and Chris Dockery (John) of Omaha; sons, Frank Huebner (Margo) of Chicago and Greg Huebner (Mary) of Indianapolis, Indiana; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Rita Chariton of Rhinelander, Wisconsin. VIGIL SERVICE Friday, December 4th at 9:15am, followed by MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 10am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Lisle, Illinois.
