Margaret F. Troken, nee Tamillo. Beloved wife of the late Louis C. Troken; loving mother of Dennis and Kathleen; fond grandmother of Anthony; dear sister of the late William (Marie) Tamillo and the late James (Joan) Tamillo; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Thursday, 9:30 a.m., from Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N. Milwaukee Ave., to St. Cornelius Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert. Visitation Thursday, 8 a.m. until time of service. 773-774-4100.

I was saddened to learn of your mother's death and even sadder to realize that it has been over 20 years since I last saw her. Although many years have passed, the memories I have of your mom (and dad) have not been erased. I will always remember your mom's vivacious personality,sparkling eyes, and infectious laughter. i can vividly remember attending Kathleen's birthday parties ( and if my memory is correct, Kathleen had a New Year"s Eve birthday)when your mom was the perfect hostess to our family which included my dad (John who was Kathleen's godfather), my mom (Veronica), myself (Mary Jo), and my siblings (Gail and John). Our sincere condolences to your family. My guess is that there is one heck of a Polish party going on in Heaven right now.
