Maria Francesca Madden, nee DiNatale, age 37, of LaGrange, former lifelong resident of Riverside. Beloved wife of Wayne Madden; devoted daughter of Joseph and Adele DiNatale (nee Mastrantonio); loving sister of Joseph (Betty) DiNatale, Katherine (Edward) Campbell, Marc (Gwen), Cara and Michael (Jacqueline) DiNatale; favorite aunt of Lexi, Joey, Genna and Elle DiNatale and Eddie, Grace, Mary and Charlie Campbell; fond daughter-in-law of Kenneth and Connie Madden. Maria was a proud 1992 graduate of Nazareth Academy, Illinois State University and Roosevelt University. Maria is a respected Certified Meeting Planner and a member of the Professional Meetings and Convention Association. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Road (2 blks. W. of Mannheim Rd.) ,Westchester on Friday, July 15, 2011 from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday, 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Church, 126 Herrick Rd, Riverside for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Maria and Wayne's special intention fund to provide support and assistance to another woman fighting the same battle today, Please omit flowers. I am saddened to hear of Maria's death. What a loss for everyone, especially you and her family.
I always enjoyed seeing the twinkle in her eyes at COMMON and admired her practical but caring approach to any issue - personal or business related.

Wayne - Maria was just a little girl when you and I first met at Dave Duke's western barbecue in the Colorado Rockies. Who could have known then the many twists and turns that life would take up to this point. You've always grabbed the roughest horse in the stable to ride and done well. This is a very rough ride indeed. I know, however, that you'll get back up. In the meantime, your loss is deeply felt as our loss.

Though I have not attended COMMON for a number of years, I was deeply saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Mrs. Madden. The world lost a special person way too early. I'm sure she was a valuable member not only of the midrange COMMON community but of her family, local community and many other groups and individuals of whom I have no knowledge. My memories of Maria date back to her days at St. Mary Grade School. Even then, her achievements and leadership were outstanding including President of the Student Council. She was loved and admired by her classmates and teachers and always had a smile for everyone. It was my pleasure to have been her second grade teacher, and my memories of Maria will never fade. I am so sorry for the loss of Maria to those she left behind. I picture God welcoming her with loving open arms and a hug!

When I met Maria for the first time here in Minneapolis at the Spring COMMON conference, she gave me such a nice hug. I'd worked with her on COMMON matters over the phone and via email.
