Maria was the most wonderful person I could have ever known. It tears my heart out I will never be able to ask her for advice (she always new what to say)look forward to coming to work,, and just having her for one of my BEST friends. I know she was a very special person! Especially today I want to say I will miss her forever. I have alot of pictures that I can cherrish and memmories that will never end. I worked with Maria at the Will county court house and we did everything together, we were the blond- brunette team :). She will never be forgotten and always remembered and I willl smile remembering the laughs and special moments we shared ,will be cherrished forever.
Happy Birthday my dear friend and my heart goes to the family of you Maria! I could go on and on , just like all the people I know she touched. Dancing , smiling , and loving life. Maria was always my ideal and inspiration from being a mother , friend , and wife . I LOVE AND MISS YOU! My prayers and love goes to Marias family and the fortunate ones she new (friends).

We are sorry for loss.
Maria was so full of life, she was one of a kind. I always called her 'sexy mama.' I remember one time she had fishnet stockings on, and she asked me how many grandma's still wear fishnets?
I feel so lucky to be able to have known her, and she will be in my heart always.

To the Puleo/DiGangi Family:
There are not enough words in the world to describe how wonderful Maria was. She was always in a good mood. She always lit up the room when she walked in. She always knew the right words to say to cheer you up. To me, she was like a second mother. She came to see me in the hospital when I was born almost 29 yrs ago. That is how long I've known her and had the pleasure of being around her. When I was younger, I was constantly at the Puleo home and I knew the family very well. I will always have a special place in my heart for her. I love her and will never forget her smiling face. Lean on Jehovah for the strength to pull you through this hard time. My prayers and sympathy are with you.

To the Puleo Family,
While I never met Maria, I recall the devistation Laura felt when she heard the news months ago. I was really pulling for a quick recovery.
My thoughts and prayers continue to go out to Laura and the rest of the family. I wish you all the best in these tough times. Take care.

Puleo Family,
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. It is so hard to lose a loved one but especially difficult when it is a great woman as Maria. It saddens me to know she is no longer here. But please know she is in a better place. I am thankful to have met such a wonderful woman. We met at the Will County Court House. She was the bailiff and I was the clerk for Judge Burmila. She was a woman with a big heart. It was a pleasure to work with her. Maria was an inspiration too many. She will be deeply missed.

I never saw Maria sad, upset, or in any means negative throughout my whole childhood when I used be part of there lives for 20 years. She loved her family and friends with all her heart and it radiated to others around her. She will surely be missed. I will keep the family in my prayers. I'm sorry.

it seems like yesterday since that morning that Maria and I spoke and she told me the bad news. What I'm going to miss the most, is her sense of humor and the positive attitude that she had. She never gave up that is a lesson that I will take to heart.
May Jehovah be there for all of you. May He be the strenght and confort God that He is, He promises that He will never leave us.
You will be in our prayers.
Please know that we are all here for you. we love you very much.

I was so saddened to hear about Maria. We shared so many fun times over the years as she tried effortlessly to teach us Italian. She was truly a wonderful teacher and friend. My thoughts and prayers go to her entire family...she cherished all of you and spoke often of her love of family. I will never ever hear the Italian language spoken and not think of her. Her memory will be with me always.

Jo I have worked with you for the past 30 years and have gotten to know and respect your family thru you. I remember when Vince & Maria got married, and the kids were born and now the grandkids. I have laughed with you and cried with you.
My thoughts and deepest sympathy will be with you at this hard time in your life.

I knew Maria because of her kind and generous efforts to teach a class to speak Italian. She was so patient and understanding and her sense of humor made our time together fun. What a wonderful person she was. I want her family to know how much Maria meant to me even my grown children feel as though they knew her because I spoke of her so often. My heart goes out to all of Maria's family

To the Puleo Family,
The world is truly a far more sad place with the loss of such an amazing woman. My sincerest condolences go out to your family.
Maria was an inspiration not only to her family, but all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Maria was my former bailiff at the Will County Courthouse. We shared so many great times along with Judge Burmilla. She could light up any room in a moment just by walking in. It was a great pleasure to be able to work with such a fantastic person.
Maria will be greatly missed but I will always keep a special place in my heart for her. I love her not only as a co-worker but also a true friend. I will always cherish her friendship and I know that right now she is safe in the arms of God.
God bless you.
