Marian Joan Hannigan, 83, passed away peacefully in her home on May 22, 2021. She is survived by her dedicated husband of almost 60 years, Philip, their four children, John (Bobbi), Jean (Curtiss) Ahrendt, Jim (Lisa) and Mary (Crispin) Tresp and five grandchildren, Katy (Dominick) Schmit, Jack, Otis, Billy and Audra Tresp. A life-long Chicagoan, she was born to Harold and Mary Hayman, attended Trinity High School in River Forest and Marquette University. A long-time parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, she was a friend to many and an example of faith, grace and courage as she lived with multiple sclerosis for 50 years. Family & friends will gather directly at St. Francis Xavier Church, 124 N. Spring Ave., LaGrange on Thursday, June 17 for 10 am Mass. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Marian Hannigan Memorial Fund at National MS Society would be appreciated.
