My mother Katherine Kelly Therriault was a good friend of Martha since grammar school at Our Lady of the Angels - in fact, I have a picture of the graduation class of 1929 showing my mother, Martha, Charlotte Johnson etc.
My mother will be welcoming Martha and talking of the good old days, I'm sure.
There are many snapshots showing the fun they had.
I doubt if I can come to the service at St. Benedict's but my prayers will be with you all.

Martha welcomed me into her home when I came from Ireland to live with her and Peter. She took me shopping at Madigans, and I enjoyed the cottage in the summertime. I have pictures of all of us when we were so young. Her mom and dad, Nana and Pops, used to say as soon as they got in the car, "In the name of God we travel again." The rosary then came out. When I was sick last year, she called to find out how I was getting along and that made me feel good. Martha was a good sister-in-law, and I'm glad she had such a rich, long life.

Sending my condolences to the Hannon family. While browsing the Tribune obits on Sun., I came across your Mother. I remember her & your Father at Pell Lake, taking us along to the Lake Geneva Country Club & to the "1st beach". What great memories you must have of the time spent at the lakes. Those were the days! How wonderful that she lived a long life to see her family grow to include great-great grandchildren.
Unfortunately I won't be able to attend the service, but I would like to reconnect with you at another time. Linda G. Ulreich C: 312-550-5000

What a wonderful woman. She is with her husband now; what a great couple they were.
