Mary Alice Simon

Mary Simon, 89, died peacefully at home on April 30, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Simon; daughter of the late Frank Cassaretto and Agnes Neary; loving mother of Matthew (Jacqueline Covert), Mark (Dr. Catherine Counard), John (Tanya Solov), Gregory (Barbara Coghlan), David (Agnieszka Kubiak), Kevin (Micaela Daly), Maria (John Taylor) and Daniel; devoted grandmother of 23 grandchildren. Sister of Gemma Allen and the late Toni Perille. Memorial visitation at St. Gertrude Church (1420 West Granville, Chicago, IL) on Saturday, May 20, 9:30 am-11:00 am with Funeral Mass following immediately at 11:00 am-12:00 pm, followed by reception at Palm Court on Loyola University Lake Shore Campus, 12:30 pm-3:00 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to (Midwest Immigrant Rights Center) are appreciated.
