It's wonderful to hear such positive comments &i memories of Sister Mary Alice. I never got to meet her, but she became known to me through extensive geneaological research I started during high school in 1992. It sounds like she's set a iconic example in life & is now watching over us all, from a place we all should aspire to reach. I'll do my best to meet my cousin when that time comes.

Mary Alice lived the words she shared with others. She had a deep sense of presence and brought love, confidence and peace with her whereever she walked. She is my sister in Providence and I will always cherish our time together at our 30 day retreat in Massachusetts in 2000. You will be missed.

As a classmate of Mary Alice at St. Andrew's Elementary School, I remember that she always wanted to become a nun. She was kind-hearted and caring to all. My condolences to those who had the good fortune to know Sister Mary Alice. She will be missed.

Sister Mary Alice was my novice director, my mentor, and my friend. In these years I grew so close to her. I am grateful for her life, as well as the many memories we shared. I will always love you, MAZ, and carry you in my heart and thoughts! Martha Arizmendi (San Diego, CA)

Mary Alice was a senior when I was a freshman in high school at the Aspirancy. Many of my memories include her kind presence and leadership. My sympathy to all of you who have been a part of her life in the years that have gone by since then. Thanks be to God for all the good she brought into the world.

I was blessed to know Sister Mary Alice while working with her in Chicago. Ever gentle, ever delighted in the Lord, Mary Alice was a witness of Providence in our lives. My sympathy to the SP's and to her family.

It's been almost 50 years, but I remember the fun times we had at St. Mary's on our walks to the apple orchard! Rest in Peace.
