So tragic. So sudden. So heartbreaking. Today's tribute to Matthew was beautiful. The love you have for him will live on. My heart is broken for the Grata and the Arrigoni families and especially for Eric, Kathy and Aunt Mary. XO. Love, Mary Lynn

I will never forget when Meg and I took you and Brooke to the Cold War Kids concert downtown and went to Andy's Jazz Club after for dinner and entertainment. We talked about how complicated and beautiful jazz music is as you were a bassist and I'm a drummer. We then drove home in a snowstorm and I hit a concrete wall with my VW. When we got home and realized there was no damage, we couldn't explain why. You guys slept over and there was two feet of snow on the ground in the morning. We ordered Rosatti's and binge-watched Netflix all day until it was safe for you to drive. Your art is beautiful as was your generally sense of creativity. I will always associate your memory with these positive thoughts and I will now focus on saving my sister Brooke. The Badali family will always love you! Our condolences, warmth and peaceful wishes to your family in these challenges times. See you when I see you. Peace.
Sincerely,
Adam Badali

My words cannot express the sadness of the loss of Matthew. Our only comfort can come from our Lord.
1. What is thy only comfort in life and in death?
That I, with body and soul, both in life and in death, am not my own, but belong to my faithful Savior Jesus Christ, who with His precious blood has fully satisfied for all my sins, and redeemed me from all the power of the devil; and so preserves me, that without the will of my Father in heaven not a hair can fall from my head; yea, that all things must work together for my salvation. Wherefore, by His Holy Spirit, He also assures me of eternal life, and makes me heartily willing and ready henceforth to live unto Him. From: The Heidelberg Catechism (1563)
