After a career as an incredibly creative mom and homemaker, Maureen embarked on a series of occupations as a craft maker, interior decorator and office manager. Eventually, she lived her passion by designing and staging homes for many of her friends and family, and found immense pleasure in filling her own home with flowers and decorations to create a beautiful escape enjoyed by many each holiday season. And she made terrific bonket. Maureen will be missed dearly by her beloved family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made in Maureen's memory to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, or to the family for a fund to build a park bench in her memory on the Crown Point extension of our local rail trail - a path on which she enjoyed many a walk and bike ride. www.fagenmiller.com

Maureen was a great lady, she will be terribly missed in the family. She was one of my many "rocks" when my folks passed away, holding me together with her kindness and good humor. I am relieved that she is no longer in pain, nothing in this world can touch her now. What a tough lady she was! Heaven just became a much better place. We love & miss you Maureen; enjoy your much-deserved eternal reward!

I met Maureen in 1994 when she hired me for a position in the office she worked in as an Office Mananger. She became more than an Office Mananger to me she became a friend helping me out with my wedding plans when I got married and us helping her out with her wedding to Mick. I had great times working with her and she will be deeply missed. My condolences to all of the family and I will keep you in my prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear of Maureen's passing. I knew her through her son Dan whom I enjoyed working with at the Highland Post Office and whom I still often think of. My condolences to all of the family and prayers to God for comfort.
