Maureen Keane, nee Kelly; Born in Templenoe, near Kenmare, County Kerry, Ireland. Beloved daughter of the late Mark and Margaret Kelly; Devoted wife of Henry for 59 years; Loving mother of Jim (Amy); Proud grandmother of James, Katie and Emma; Sister of Austin Kelly of Templenoe, the late Beatrice (the late John) Chabrillat of London, England and the late Kevin Kelly; Survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins, including Shannon (Tim) Yuhasz who provided tender care to her; Began her career in administration at Swift & Co; Managed Shannon Imports retail store for more than 10 years beginning in the 1970s; She travelled extensively with Henry, and particularly enjoyed trips to Sarasota in the winters, Lake Geneva and Milwaukee in the summers; Very active in the Chicago area Irish community for more than 65 years; Member of Gaelic Park, and active volunteer supporting their social events; Loved Irish music and performed as part Irish set dancing groups for over 25 years; Proud member of Kerry Association and a loyal follower of Kerry football; Visitation Friday 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Saturday, 10:00 a.m. from Curley Funeral Home 6116 W. 111th Street, Chicago Ridge to St. Linus Church, 10300 S.
