Dear Sandy,
I am sorry this is so late; I had an old address and the card I sent was returned to me. I am so sorry to hear about Maury, and I loved reading all the great tributes to him. I remember the wonderful weeks we spent at North Star, and all the reunions between Chicago and Milwaukee. I also remember visiting you in Naples, and now I have our mutual friend, Donna from Naples. I wish you and the family peace and love in this time of mourning, and reminiscing.
Love, Elly

Dear Sandy,

George and I were heartbroken to hear that Maury passed. He was admired by many, but our love for him was built from many years that he counseled us. He truly always made us feel we were the most important as I am sure he did for many. We grew to know the both of you and your caring hearts. I know you will miss him dearly as will many. May God give you and your family strength while healing from your loss.

Dear Sandy and Family,
We are so saddened by Maury's passing. He was such an incredibly talented and worldly person and had such affection for all he knew and we felt blessed to have been his friend. His warm smile, relaxing and calm manner as well as his wonderful humor made us feel so special to be in his company. His kindness was one of his most enduring qualities. We will miss him. David and I are sending the family and you love and support during these terribly sad times.
Fondly,
Carol and DAvid Ingall

I am most saddened by the loss of Maury Raizes. Maury was an amazing mentor in so many ways. He was one of the finest lawyers I ever met and taught me how to be a good lawyer and work with clients and the courts and other lawyers. He also taught me of the importance of giving and and philanthropy. Maury was indeed a lawyers lawyer and well respected by everyone he worked with. He taught me there was no substitute for thoroughness and hard work , but understood that family was always important, and showed it through his dedication to his family. In addition to being a teacher, mentor and colleague and partner he was a special friend who always gave me encouragement and support in everything I did after I left Cohon Raizes & Regal. I can not really put into words what an impact Maury had on on my life. Judy and I send our heartfelt condolences and prayers to Sandy,Sherry.Elliott and Lorri and the entire family. Thank you Maury. You will be missed and never forgotten .
