Melva M. Trentz, 67, died quietly at home on April 26, 2007, after a courageous three-year battle against lung cancer. Cremation and Memorial Services are private. Born to Mel and Edna Magnuson in Chicago, now both deceased, Melva was the eldest of six children, John (Carol) Magnuson, Marcia (Dan) Trew, Marilyn (Mark) Holysz, Mona (Larry) Strazzella, and Marlene (Earl) Sharman. She was a loving aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Melva will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, especially her own loving family, the family of Bill Dearhammer, her co-workers at The Jewel, the Belding Group, The First National Bank of Chicago Pensioners' Luncheon Club, the Association of Credit Executives, the Pumas, her Schurz High School Graduating Class and a plethora of others. Eric and family,
Our hearts go out to all of you. Even though we know that Melva is in a better place where she suffers no more, it does not ease the pain of loosing her. Have hope for the day you will see her again and rejoice. We will continue praying for your family. Please remember we are here for anything you need. God bless.
