The Cohen Family:
I knew Michael through the fraternity, and he was always the most helpful person to me during my early years at U of I. Mike was always willing to listen, and was always one to offer advice that was sound. I lost touch with Mike over the years, but never lost the memory of the significant role that he played in my life.
Please know that your husband, and father, was a very special person, and was extremely respected by many people, some of whom you have never met.
My thoughts are with you during these difficult times.

To the Cohen Family. I was truly saddened to learn of Michael's untimely passing. I came to know Michael in a professional capacity. As I am sure you know, Michael was a very capable attorney, who was also funny and kind. In short he was a mensch. He will be sorely missed.
