You don't know me, but you know my sorrow. My beautiful son Randy died on March 15, 2003 as a result of an accident on his way home from work the day after you lost your son Michael.

I cry every day for his spirit... it goes against my convictions as a loving and protective mother to accept that he is gone. One day I am making spagetti and tripping over his shoes in the hallway and the next I am talking to strangers about organ donations and funeral home arrangements.

If you ever need anyone to talk to, I am here. I understand your heartbreak and the courage it takes just to wake-up in the morning, still hoping everything would be like it was before.

Dan,

I can't begin to know your pain. A lot of times we go through things in life not knowing or understanding why they happen to us. I pray that God will keep you in the midst of it all. May the Lord continue to comfort and give you peace. Just remember, "the Lord will not put more on than you can bare." I know your son is in a better place. He is looking down on you now, saying not to worry because he knows that you will meet again someday. God bless you and your family.

Dan,

I regret that your son was taken from you at such a young age. We wonder why God allowed such a tragedy. I hope you find it in your heart to forgive and to know that Mike touched more lives in his short time here than many who are allowed more time. My prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Dombkowski Family:

My heart is breaking for you. We knew Mike from Cub Scouts. I remember all of you when our kids used to be in scouts together. My sons Rocky and Franco knew Mike very well.

Mike and his family will be in our memories for a long time. We will pray for you every day and ask God to give you strength.

We too almost lost a son five years ago and we know that your pain is unbearable.

May God give you strength and perseverence for always.

Most sincerely,

The Roppo Family

Dear Dombkowski's,

I am so sorry for the loss of your precious Mikey. I grew up with Mikey since he was in the 3rd grade. He was like a little brother to me and I loved him. He was always over and instantly became one of my brother's best friends. When we got to highschool me and Mikey became close friends. I have so many outragous and fond memories of time me and Mike would spend together. He was such a spontanious kid. He could make anyone love him when they'd see the huge smile on his face that went from here to next Tuesday. I feel as if when Mikey left a little peice of me went with him. He has left such a tremendous impact on my life and the life of so many others. Mikey will live forever in our hearts.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Dombkowski:

Our hearts go out to you and your family. Our son Rob was in a near fatal accident in September but somehow survived. We have some idea of what you're going through and just wanted to express our sympathy. I know it's just a parents' worst nightmare. We knew Mike when he was in Jr. High with Rob and he was a very nice young man. I hope the many memories you have will help sustain you through this difficult time. We will keep you and your family in our prayers. Our deepest sympathy, Bob & Nancy Bearlund
