I grew up with Mike and I think about him often. Mike quickly made friends with us when he came to our school in junior high. He was fun in the classroom, a great friend who brought us together outside of school, and he was an exceptional athlete. We all looked up to Mike. I still envision him in a basketball jersey and some Nike shorts, playing basketball together in the backyard. I know he is at rest in heaven and we will see him again. All of my love.

Rip Mike. I will never forget 2014 memories with you. You were a great friend with amazing wisdom, you were funny and down to earth. You were a great co-worker, work so hard to better yourself and for your future wife Tanya. (He always talked about how he work hard so he could give her and himself a life they always dreamed of) my heart goes out to you Tanya and all his family and friends. My prayers go out for this is a sad time. I will never forget how great of a man he was and will cherish the short time I did have with him forever. My heart goes out to the ones closest to mike.

Michael was one of the most enjoyable young men I've met. When I was in Michael's presence, I knew I would learn something interesting (usually sports), laugh as he was teased by his cousin Alex or enjoy catching up on his life. I was fortunate to have him join Lance, Alex and me for several college football games and other similiar activites.

I met Michael recently thru work done on my house in Morris, Il. I liked him and appreciated how much care he took to see that everything was ready and done in a quality way for the roof work he arranged for me. I feel a loss for him. My neighbors then asked for work to be done for them. I feel a loss of him in today's world.
