Michael Robert Kien, 82 years young, died December 10, 2023. Beloved son of the late Dorothy and Paul Kien. Cherished father of Dana Kien. Loving brother of Phyllis Greenberg and the late Gerald Kien. Dear uncle of Mark Freed, Susan Freed Melnick, Paul Greenberg, Judy Lisnek, Larry Kien and many other nieces and nephews. Graveside service Friday 12 Noon at Westlawn Cemetery, 7801 W. Montrose Avenue, Norridge. Please use the west gate entrance. Arrangements entrusted to Lakeshore Jewish Funerals, 773-625-8621

I knew Mike from my days as Public Defender, he a private attorney. We became friends and did some work together when I left the office. He was always one of my favorite people in the business.

Mike was a great friend and neighbor on Webster.

Wonderful memories of coffee at Starbucks on Halsted, dinners at the Athenian Room, DePaul Lady Blue Demons games.
