Though it has been years since I've seen Mike, the wonderful memories of him coming to our home and spending time with our family have stuck with me. He was an amazing young man, and he was taken too soon. My sincere condolences for your loss. I believe that we were truly blessed to have him in our lives, even if for a short time. My thoughts, prayers, and love are with you and your family.

Such a beautiful person inside and out. I just came from the wake and I regret not knowing him as much as the people gathered for him. My memories of him always have him smiling and welcoming, even though I was just one of his friend's little sisters. He treated me and my family like his own and I will never forget his kindness. Thanks for coming to my wedding party, Mike. It was a nice surprise. I'll always smile when I think of you.

Mike what can I say , you were the first friend I met of Zach's and you totally accepted me and cheered us on . You were def one of a kind, yet one of the nicest people I've ever met . You loved our daughter since I was pregnant 4 years ago and even came to help with my baby shower , you were at the hospital with us even to celebrate her life on New Year's Eve for that matter after she was born . We love you and you will never be forgotten , you will always be remembered as one of the happiest , free spirited , just plain awesome guy you were . My last memory of you is kissing little Addy and telling her she's going to be alright and that she was cool ! I think she realized then who her little crush was with the smile she gave you . That was just 3 weeks ago maybe a month tops now :( Rest in peace Mike there is no more suffering , no more wondering , no more pain . Your set free from this crazy world and I know in my heart you'll always be watching . Love you buddy . Love Zach , Heather and your little lady Adaline. Our condolences to the family and many prayers for healing after such a loss. Fly high Mike.

We hadn't spoken in what seems like a whole lifetime. But, as fate would have it, 12 years later, we find each other. The second we exchanged hellos, I was back to my 19-year-old self, reliving all of the ridiculousness that came with being in a serious relationship at that age. I thought that we had more time to figure out when we could get together and catch up on the last decade of growing up, but, here we are my friend. Now I am remembering things from our time together that remain the last memories I will ever have of you.
You had the greatest laugh. It was the kind that was irresistibly contagious. Even now, as I sit here writing this, I am smiling thinking about that infectious laugh. That laugh paired perfectly with your silliness. You were storms and sunshine all at the same time. I remember thinking you were too cool for everythinguntil I saw you dance for the first time, and then I knew that outshining all of the seriousness and tough exterior, you were gentle with the innocence of a child in many waysplus a really terrible dancer! But, you didn't care that you were a terrible dancer, you didn't care what other people thought of you. You loved what you loved, and you loved with such intensity no matter what it was your blue and white striped polo, your Philly's hat that you put on without fail, even after spending an hour getting your hair just right, and Blackjack. And you tried to get others to love all that you did just as much.
Some of those things never took with me, like camping or learning how to gut a deer, but some of those things have stayed with me and bring me happiness like they did to you. I loved going to the dog park, I still enjoy the occasional seaweed paper snack, and I can rattle off more Slipknot knowledge than anyone should know. More importantly, I learned things from you without you even knowing you were teaching. Things that, to this day, I am proud of and are envied by others. Despite all of the things you gave me and the memories I have, I also have a deep void now that you are gone, as I imagine many others do too. It should come as no surprise though, you were just that kind of person people loved and will always remember because, somehow, some way, you left an imprint on their lives.
Thank you for the memories and for giving me experiences I likely would have never had in my life. Kisses, babes. Rest easy.

Don and Jo,
Our hearts are breaking with you. Fond memories of your stories of your little 4 or 5 year old daredevil running and jumping off the high dive at the pool in summer. Still makes me smile. We wish you strength and peace.
