Michele Geneva Futrell (Brcic) passed away April 27th, 2021 in Chicago IL. Graduated from the University of Chicago Laboratory High School, University of Wisconsin. Model, Ray Charles Publishing, The Tonight show with Johnny Carson. First African American female to be accepted to the Directors Guild Of America. Assistant Director in TV and films. Director of Industrials. Staunch Conservative. Left behind are her husband Michael Brcic of 33 years, her brother Forrest Futrell , cousin Carlos (Jackie) Jackson . many family and friends in Chicago, Los Angeles, Nice France, The Bahamas Croatia and Australia.

She is terribly missed.

So sad to hear about our lab school classmate Mickey´s death. Remembering Mickey fondly from high school and catching up with her at the reunions that she attended since then. She will be missed. Sending condolences and love to her husband and family. Rest In Peace.
