Mildred Firestone Obituary
Mildred Lucille Firestone, nee Lurie, 92, of Highland Park, passed away peacefully in her home on May 14. Before the onset of Alzheimer's, Millie's youthful spirit and zest for life fostered her love of nature, travel and learning. Millie is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 64 years, Nathan Firestone, three daughters, Diane Firestone, Marilyn Rothschild, and Joanne Firestone Nemerovski (Marc Brown), and seven grandchildren, Allie, Rachel, Max, Nicole, Ben, Elana and Rose. Graveside service Friday 10:00 AM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. For information: 847-255-3520 or www.shalom2.com.

Please accept my sincere condolences at the loss of your beloved Millie. It was an honor to know you both, and your devotion to taking care of Millie through her illness is an inspiration to me.
