I worked for the Chicago Police Crime Lab and wanted to make an appointment to discuss some investigative issues with a medical examiner. I was most excited to be given an opportunity to talk with Dr Jones. To my surprise, she took me from her office to the medical examiners video conference room where we talked for a very long time viewing many photographs of various wounds and injuries. This was a moment in my life one does not forget. I marveled at her professionalism and intelligence. She will always be remembered within me and I offer my deepest condolences to her family members.

I had the pleasure of working with her during my 36 years as a county prosecutor in both Cook and Lake county. She was the very best at her craft, a kind and gentle soul, and I will miss her always. God Bless you Nancy

Nancy Jones was a personal friend and person of the highest caliber. She was always even keeled, pleasant, and happy to greet you with a big smile. She was kind, courteous and a real pleasure to be around. She was such an accomplished lady yet so down to earth. I will miss her along with many others. She was a friend for 35 years . We served together on the CMS Alumni Bd of Governors .

I first met Dr. Jones when she was an intern at the Medical Examiner's Office and had the privilege of working with her many times over the years. She was always devoted to her work and to the victims, and was very supportive of like-minded police officers. She will always be remembered and appreciated by the many medical, public safety and victim support personnel with whom she shared her knowledge.
Thank you for all that you have done, Dr. Jones.

A wonderful, headstrong woman replete with unconditional friendship for her medical school classmates. She was admired by her entire class for her leadership, wit, intelligence and affability, even in the most difficult of hours. She will be sorely missed by the Class of 1982 of RFUMS, N. Chicago, IL.

Nancy was our son's first babysitter. He is now 45 years old. She was so reliable, so joyous an addition to our family. We lost touch as she became so professionally accomplished, but we never forgot her and the fresh breeze she brought into our home. She was long missed, even before her actual death. May she Rest In Peace.
Please inform us of any services planned for this exceptional woman.

Nancy was a dedicated, hard working professional and a generous person. When I taught at UIC Medical Center, Nancy was always helpful to teach students both in class and informally to provide guidance to questions in pathology and public health. I mourn the loss of such a good person and friend.

I met Dr. Nancy Jones when I was a young detective. She was a good, caring person as well as a well-respected pathologist. Over the years we worked many cases. I am fortunate to have known her and proud to call her my friend. Nancy will be missed by a great many. The Chicago Police Department and Cook County are in her debt.
