Mr. Oscar as we called him was a business partner of my father's for many years when we were young. He and Ms. Lucille were always kind, like an extra aunt or uncle. I was sorry to hear of your loss and also the loss of your Mother. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time.

Oscar was the friendliest and easiest going of Marty's friends' parents. He and Lucille made their Whipple Street home the center of activity and always welcomed everyone. When Mel and Marty got into mischief, Oscar would call them "meatheads", but it was always said affectionately.
In later years Oscar and Lucille were like surrogate parents, including both of us in all the family activities. We will carry their memory in our hearts forever.
