Panagiota "Bertha" Rikos, neeHondros, of Elmwood Park. Beloved wife of the late George; dear mother of Dino (late Sherry, late Phyllis, fiancee
Karen Welch) Rikos, Renee (Parry) Balis, Elaine (late Michael) Lathis and Sandra
Wilson; loving "Yia Yia" of Patrice, Nicole, George, Tracy, James, George, Cynthia,
Angela, Georgeann, John and Nick; great-grandmother of 11; and great-great-grandmother of three; fond sister of the late Alexandra, from Fronimos, the late Stella Sperounis, the late Ann Dover and the late Tom Hondros; cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. Will be greatly missed by her many friends and love ones. Visitation Wednesday 3 to 9 p.m. at the Oehl er Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Rt 14/Northwest Hwy at Rand Rd.) Des Plaines. Funeral Thursday 9:15 a.m. from chapel to St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 E. Dempster St., Des Plaines. Service 10 a.m. Entombment Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The American Heart Association or the Respiratory Health Association. For further info or directions call 847-824-5155.
