Dear Brian and Family,
It's been many years since I've seen you but news of your father's death brings me close to you in spirit, as if no time has passed. I have fond memories of your dad: driving us around the south suburbs in our pre-license days; his openness and hospitality the many nights you all welcomed me into your home for play or dinner; He was always quick to offer a "Hello," a smile, and so often, a laugh. Rest assured that his goodness lives on in my and many others' memories. Though I am unable to attend the services this weekend, my prayers and thoughts are with you and I extend fond greetings to you, your Mom, and your brothers.
