I miss you dad so much. I cant believe how much I have grown without you here with me. Everytime I hear our songs I start to cry but its a good kinda of cry. You mean the world to me and I would be who I am today without you.

Dear Janice and Family,

I have been reading all the wonderful memories of Paul on his untimely death. I send my most sincere condolences for your loss. Like Sue Johnson, I knew Paul at Salem in the youth group, and also regret having lost touch with all those guys. Paul is not the kind of guy you would forget. I remember his HUGE smile and equally delightful sense of adventure. He had a definite gift of compassion and care. A terrific balance for the great Doctor he must have been!

I know the pain of someone taken away so young, too soon. May you know comfort in your memories, all the love he shared, all the lives he touched, and the wonderful legacy he created. My continued prayers are with you. Linda (Swift) Kinsey

Dearest Paul,

It is almost a month now that you have been gone from me and yet it only seems like yesterday that I held your hand or rubbed your head. We all miss you so much that words cannot express the pain. They say that time heals all wounds but I do not believe that. I shall love you to the day of my death and await our reunion in Heaven. Ask God to give us strenth to live on for you as I know you would want us to. Thank you for the best 28 years of my life. I shall cherish those memories forvever. I miss you so very much.

Love you forever.

To My Best Friend,

Each day is a struggle now because I cannot imagine my life without you. You were the best part of me and will always be that. I am trying to make some sense of all this and yet I know you are with God now. The hard part is trying to pick up the scattered pieces of myself and see if I can ever put them together. I will always love you and will always be proud to be known as Mrs. Paul Miller. I pray with your strength and God's that I can find some meaning and purpose in all of this. You were the best husband anyone could ever dream of having.

To the Miller Family:

Janice, Erin, Sarah, Ryan and Emily - I want to extend my warmest sympathy to you during this time of sorrow. I know your dad was a very very special person. I knew your husband and/or dad years ago when we were in high school. All three of the boys, Paul, Al and Mark were friends with our church youth group at Salem Baptist Church, we all had the best times. It's so hard to keep in touch; everyone is busy with his or her own lives. It has been so nice to read all these e-mails about Paul, I didn't know him as an adult, but feel I have learned many things about a long lost friend. My prayers are with you and your family.

To the Miller families,

I would like to express my deepest sympathies for your tragic loss. I only had the pleasure of being with Paul and his family on a few holiday occasions. He always opened his house and his heart to my family. He will be greatly missed.

Again to all the Miller family, you will always have my love and support.

To the Miller family,

I was an Emergency Medicine Resident from 1991-1994, and we spent a lot of time with the anesthesiologists. Paul, above all others, was the favorite anesthesiologist for all the Er residents...not suprising to you all, I am sure. He was a wonderful person, one of the nicest I have ever met. I have a lot of family that live near Christ Hospital, and Paul always happily agreed to take care of them, even after I had left Christ and moved on. That always meant a lot to me...I am so sad for him and for his family, and all of you are in my thoughts.

I new Paul for many years in my work as a nurse at Christ Hospital.

He was a kind and caring physician and friend. As a favor to me he provided my anesthesia after a miscarriage and was truly caring and compassionate to me and husband over what we had been through. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his death, and will miss him dearly.

When I started working at Christ Hospital in 1980, I was always referred to as "paul millers sister". I was always proud of that fact and today even more so. He was a great brother and will be very much missed.

Time's greatest deception is allowing us to believe we always have tomorrow.

I pray Paul's soul is at peace and for God's comfort to surround his family.

He will be missed always.

Dear Jan, Erin, Sarah, Ryan, Emily,

and family,

I first met Paul and Jan when they were teaching a graduate course at St. Xavier's. Even after all these years I still remember it as one of my best classes.

Later, when my Dad was ill and faced several surgeries there was no question about what surgeon he'd use...Dr. Meslah and what anesthesiologist he's use...Paul. I hope that in some small way it helps to know how many lives were blessed by knowing Paul.

love,

Deb Terry

Dear Jan, Erin, Sarah, Ryan, Emily,

and family,

I am Mark Johnson's sister. We lived

across the street from Paul and his

family during our whole childhood.

I just heard about this tragedy

this morning. I am very sad for you.

I have great memories of the old

neighborhood. Paul and my brothers

(Mark and Cliff) hung out together

and Paul was a daily visitor in our

home. We loved him like a brother.

He was a joy to be around! I don't

know why the Lord would take him

so early in your lives but you can be sure that God will bless all of you and hear Paul's prayers for you.

Paul will always be with you in your heart.

Sincerely,

Dorothy (Johnson)Pomykala
