Paula Furtner, nee Schmidt, age 81, beloved wife of the late Walter; fond daughter of the late Karl and the late Barbara of Austria; cherished sister of Helga (late
Armandus) Gerold, Adolf (Traudi), Ernst (Erika), late Josef (Angela) Schmidt and late Maria (late Alois) Hrazdera; loving aunt of Walter, Alfred (Shing-Chao) and John; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in Europe. Long time dedicated employee of Little Company of Mary Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to Little Company of Mary Sisters Retirement Fund. Visitation Sunday July 26, 2009, 2 to 9 p.m. at Kosary Funeral Home, 9837 S. Kedzie, Evergreen Park, where Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Interment Private 708-499-3223.

It is with sadness that I learned of Paula's passing. Throughout my years of employment at Little Company of Mary Hospital I always had a fond rapport with Paula. We had fun trying to catch the other in a mistake. My deepest sympathies go to all her family members...sincerely, Ellen
