Peter Wroblewski
1952 - 2021
Peter Wroblewski was born on April 8th, 1952 in Chicago, IL to the late Sigmund and Estelle Wroblewski. He passed away on April 8th, 2021 at age 69, leaving a hole in the hearts of all who loved him. Working in the restaurant business in his earlier years, and newly retired from a stellar career at Highland Baking, Peter never missed a day of work. That didn't stop him from being the neighborhood dad who coached the teams, attended the games, and hosted the barbecues on his prized charcoal grill while his family and friends played in the pool they so enjoyed together. Whether telling a joke, discussing the news or performing a magic trick, Peter was the guy who lit up the room. He was in his happy place playing a round of golf with his sons, tackling a project, or planning a trip with his wife. Married to his soulmate of nearly 37 years, Peter leaves behind his beloved wife, Valerie, his sons Kyle and Chris (Brittany), grandson Blake, sisters Donna Dehnert and Kristine Wroblewski, brother-in-law Scott (Joyce) Steinman, and sister-in-laws Laura White, Jill (Marshall) Okun, Vicki (Mark) Lorang, along with numerous nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Peter, dearly. Ask his sons and they will tell you there was no better dad. No better role model. No better friend. He was that loyal guy who always had your back. He was the ultimate family man who loved life like there was no tomorrow. Those of us who were lucky to bask in the sunshine of his presence will always remember him. Memorial service will be private.

Peter, you will be missed by many but you helped make up the big 4 boys in the graduating class of 1966 from Ascension of our Lord. You, Jimmy, John and Jerry were a hub of the boys who were ready to make our world a better place. You will be missed but I really wished we would have met up again at our 50th HS reunion, I had plans to attend it. God be with you Peter and you will be missed. The Irishman, Jerry O´Hagan, still a good friend of Jimmy Wolinski, your best bud!
