Philip Andrieus Jones, a highly respected trademark attorney and resident of Northfield, Illinois passed away on October 9, 2021 at the age of 55 after a heroic battle with cancer. Philip is survived by his wife of 27 years, Susan (née Ayres); his three sons Tristan Ayres, Aidan Andrieus and Oliver Ernest; his parents Michael and Susan Jones of Washington, DC; his sister Idina Auth and her husband, Charles of New Hampshire; his sister-in-law Marybeth Ayres Bolado and her husband, Carlos of Potomac, MD; and his father-in-law, Franklin Ayres of Glenview. He is preceded in death by his mother-in-law Margaret Ayres. Philip was a loving uncle to several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass is scheduled for October 15, 2021 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church in Winnetka. My sincere condolences to Philip´s family. Jonesy was my freshman year roommate at Princeton. was devoted to rowing. I remember him as a fun guy and a kind soul. May he rest in peace.
