David and Family,
I just saw the notice about your mother. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you at this time. Our mothers were in Club together.

“Lord, make me better or take me into your heart” was the prayer Grandma Sue prayed when she was ill, and the one Aunt Phyllie shared with me while she ran the final stretch of the race. Now we know where she is—safe in the Heart of Our Loving Savior. What a blessing to have had her as our auntie.

Love forever,

Never far away in life, I know you will stay close now. As we needed you in life, we need your inspiration, wisdom and laughter still. We love and miss you.

I know I speak for all your nieces and nephews as well as countless friends.

It was a pleasure to bring the Eucharist to this most holy lady. She was most devout and always had a smile when I visited.

I missed seeing her the last weeks that I was away on vacation, but she was always in my thoughts and prayers.

Rest, dear Phyllis, in the arms of the Lord. Your suffering kept you so close to the Lord. I will always remember you.

The sadness felt by the family of Phyllis is shared by so many people whom she touched in her life.

The years I spent as her neighbor and friend on Cuyler Ave. in Oak Park will stay with me as beautiful memories for the rest of my life. What fun we had. Her humor and joy were wonderful and she lifted my spirit whenever we were together.

My heart is heavy. Rest well my dear friend until we meet again.

With love and condolences to the family, Lynn
