Richard H. Driehaus
The Horatio Alger Association mourns the passing of Richard H. Driehaus, 2013 Horatio Alger Award recipient. A successful businessman and generous philanthropist, Mr. Driehaus was committed to upholding and advancing the Association's mission to support scholarship programs and services for promising young people who have critical financial needs and face severe adversities. In addition to his significant financial support of the organization, Mr. Driehaus was also involved in Horatio Alger Association events and spoke at the 2014 Alumni Summit, where he provided Horatio Alger Alumni Scholars with advice about career advancement and financial planning.

We are grateful to Mr. Driehaus for his contributions and dedication to our organization and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
