Legacy just noted me it is that time again. As I always state I have posted every year and will continue to do so. That is what he meant to me. Dr. Glenner is the primary reason I became a Dentist and a Periodontist & Implant Specialist. He was my first real mentor and he has no idea the impact he had on me! He was a customer of my grandfather, Archie Shore of Shore Galleries. I wish he was still with us, as I have so much to show to him. I just was in touch as always with his daughter and showed her some of my PowerPoint slides on the the Power Of Early Mentors! And, the power of social media. RIP my friend, you are never forgotten!! Cannot wait to see you!

As per prior, Legacy has alerted me about Richard's passing. I am still so saddened by his passing and will always feel bad I was not at the funeral - just did not know. An awesome person, friend and mentor - and the reason I chose the field of dentistry. Miss you buddy! I think you would be proud of me!? Bob

It is that time of year again. RIP my friend - you are missed all of the time. I have started a Dental Fb Group and you would be proud as you are the reason I am a dentist and dental specialist! My condolences to his family.

I just got reminded from Legacy that is almost the anniversary of the passing of Dr. Richard Glenner. My original post from 2017 says it all. I miss him dearly and he is the main reason I do what I do today. Not realizing this was coming up, I mentioned his name in a webinar recently where I was asked who were my initial role models of why I went into dentistry. Through the power of social media I have now connected with his daughter Alison. RIP my friend.

OMG! I am so saddened to hear of Dr. Glenner's passing. I had no idea and I am in tears. I first met Dr. Glenner when he was a customer of my grandfathers at Shore Art Galleries. He found out I wanted to be a dentist, and I spent time in his office. He is hands-down the number one reason I went into dentistry, and he is also hands-down the number one reason I went into my specialty of Periodontics & Implants. He is also the reason my girlfriend at the time Carol went into dentistry and periodontics. I am in his book, which I just recommended to someone, which is how I discovered this. Sadly, our lives get busy and I feel terrible I did not know. To his family, one of the most honest and amazing clinicians I ever met. Most importantly, one of the most amazing and caring individuals ever. Please give my condolences to all. So sad, Bob Pick 773-230-5211

My father, Louie Kauffman, introduced me to Dr. Glenner who became my favorite dentist for many years. No one could begin to understand my love for going to the dentist. I looked forward to every visit with him (and Fran) and laughed so hard when Dorothy and he teamed up to work on my teeth together! I still get compliments on the dental work he did for me from my current dentist. I have wonderfully fond memories of both Dr. Glenner and Dorothy that I will carry with me forever.

Very sorry to hear about Dr. Glenner passing away. He was a kind man. He cared about his patients. An office visit was more than a checkup, it was getting together with a friend you hadn't seen in awhile and catching up. He will be missed.
